I cannot believe Darwin hasn't called him yet. At the end of this video, he looks pretty clumsy. This guy is a complete idiot.

hah, this is brilliant.

When I first saw the video a while back it was only a few snippets, and it seemed like he was actually doing it as a practical solution rather than to get famous.

Still, words to not do his stupidity justice. His lawn-mower on a stick was a much more effective way of hedge trimming anyway.

Whatever. It's not as dangerous as he is making it out to be.

So rednecks don't care about the aesthetic appeal of their yards.
Got it.

Based on what?
He's swinging a chainsaw around his head with a rope!

If that rope goes, it's gonna be chain-saw-palooza all up in that bush.

You know how much fun swinging a chainsaw around your head with a rope is? Almost as much fun as swinging two of em.

If he really wanted to impress he would have trimmed those trees across the street.

Yeah, maybe don't do it in a neighborhood where kids run after soccer balls.

Yeah, so what? If he lets go of the rope, the chainsaw is going to fall to the ground faster than it goes flying through the air and cuts someone in half at the speed he is spinning it.

furthermore, if the bush had a thicker branch, the chainsaw could have easily stopped swinging around and chewed up his leg pretty good I'm guessing.

Why not use a hedge trimmer instead of a chainsaw, vaguely safer and probably more effective.

I can see a new Darwinian theory of natural selection award rapidly approaching!
