We've all seen some design flaws that obviously weren't thought out well, both inside and outside of the bass world. What have you found?
For instance, my Chevy HHR requires removing the front wheels to access to headlights. The lamp module doesn't pop out the front without removing the bumper, so you're taking the car apart one way or another. I just never thought I'd need a jack and a breaker bar to change a headlight.

I always had an uneasy feeling about those blue ovals.

It would drill into something, but picture what happened when you tried to unscrew something that was torqued down. I'll give a hint, that's how I found out how it was attached. That was among the worst flaws I have seen.

As they say, a Chevy will run like **** longer than Fords will run at all.
Edit: It was a 15 dollar drill, so I couldn't be too surprised. I laughed more than anything.

Let's add car keyholes that freeze to that list. Not a design flaw, but a pet peeve that amounts to the same thing. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
