Howdy Guys

If a woman smacked you out of anger in the face not in response to a physical attack would you smack her back ?

If I did something to deserve the initial smack, no.

If it was for no apparent reason, hells to the yeah.

No, and if I saw someone else do it, I would smack them.

Absolutely, positively, no way in hell. I'd have some pretty strong words for someone whom I saw did it.

+1 to an extent I've been slapped many of times, If it was a slap I'd laugh it off, if she closed fist punched me in the face that was unjustified, she'd get one back

within reason, absolutely not..

but if its seriously undeserved, as in some kind of random attack (??) then absolutely yes..

after all women DO want to be treated equally. if a guy hit me..

ill stop at that.

Nope. I did that once when I was about 9. She immediately and swiftly beat the crap out of me. I deserved it.

Today, I'm much wiser - I'd turn around and walk away.

If I did something to deserve it I'd just take it.

If it was a random act of some girl thinking she can walk up and slap me across the face for no reason, she's gonna catch one on the jaw But hopefully I'm never in that situation, because I'd regret just about any action I could take.

I'm a non-violent person, but if it's a situation where I'd hit a man then I'd also hit a woman.

Totally depends on the situation and the woman involved. I've had the chance to workout with some very talented female martial artists, so I'm not really in a gender specific mindset when it comes to defending myself.

If I thought any person really posed danger to me I'd defend myself. If they didn't, I would try not to let what they said or did get to me, especially if it's obvious they're just trying to antagonize me or embarrass me. She might end up wearing my drink though.

I wouldn't hit her.

but I would immobilize her and surely insult her (if she really hit me without any clear reason).

I gotta come back in this for a minute.

Where I live, I really do see quite a few girls/women doing stuff to guys to see what they can get away with. They know that people will generally be on their side with that kind of stuff, so they push it however they can.

Thinking it's not okay to hit them if they hit you first for no apparent reason but at the same time thinking that defending yourself from a guy in a similar situation is justified is out and out sexism IMO.

Equal rights comes with equal responsibility for your actions. You hit someone, you accept the consequences of doing so.
