I saw a link to this on youtube and had to look. A band I was in in High School did this song. The guitarist did all the wierd vocal parts for us, in stead of the keyboardist, though.
It always seemed a lot less strange at the time than it did looking at thhe video clip, just now.

It's an early ´70s Gibson Les Paul Personal (see below) that Jan Akkerman got Paul Hamer to rebuild with old PAF humbuckers and a tigerstripe maple top.
