And we haven't even felt of the large ice storm they're predicting for tonight.
The roads are frozen over here in NJ with car accidents everywhere. I actually witnessed a car skid across 4 lanes and flip on its side. I pulled over and ended up rescuing the driver and passenger who were trapped inside. What a rush.
Be careful out there and stay home if you can. |

So far we're getting just a little bit here, not too bad at all but overnight I'm sure it's going to really suck.

A lot of people don't understand that concrete freezes before asphalt does and that they need to take it easy on the turns, especially with RWD vehicles. That was the above guy's mistake. I'm surprised the both of them were, thankfully, unscathed.
Tonight's ice storm is (if the predictions hold true), most likely, going to knock out power on a large scale. Be ready. |

When I was growing up it was Vermont-New Hampshire-Maine. Then I moved down to New York and learned that the "tri-state area" is supposedly New Jersey-New York-Connecticut. Then I lived in the midwest and the "tri-state area" was Illinois - Indiana - Michigan.
Anyone out there not living in some tri-state area? Personally I suspect every local TV news station in the country calls whatever three states are closest to their broadcasting center "the tri-state area."

I'd imagine they would have a tough time with coming up with a Tri-State area!

However, California doesnt really need the association, it pretty much stands on its own.

Besides, I NEED to snowboard! Quote:
