X-Ray Prints

Sign in to disble this ad
This may seem odd but im looking for a place that has x-ray prints of skeletal parts for sale. Ive tried looking all over the place but most of what i find are reprints on regular paper. Im looking for actual negatives or copies of them on the translucent material they normally come on. To make things even more difficult im looking for larger sized prints and so many of the ones ive found seem to be shrunk down in size. Im not looking for any specific part of the skeletal system, just anything that looks neat or interesting. Id actually love to use the xray of my hand when i messed it up but i cant find it. lol

Anyway, any help would be great.

EDIT: I guess skiagraph images would work as well but i dont think they are available like normal xray prints.

2 problems I would see, first they tend to recycle them these days after they're used. And thanks to the HIPAA laws they can't and won't just hand them out to anyone.

You could try looking on Ebay maybe or perhaps a medical teaching supply company. Other countries might be less stringent in their rules.

Good luck,
Dirk

Yeah, i kind of figured that was the case. I may have to settle on a skiagraph instead.

Hmmm- I vaguely recall that a friend works/used to work in radiology; if I can stir the memory to the top of my brain I'll see if I can hook you up. No promises, I really have no clear idea who it was- probably talking years ago here...
