We used to just attach some paper or cardboard to our feet and slide around the school all the time. We'd often get two people to act as the 'boat' and run around dragging us behind them (one per arm) like a water skier. So much fun. Especially trying to 'jump' down a flight of stair and land successfully on the carpet at the bottom!
