Are you easily offended?

It seems like there isn't a day goes by that some group of people somewhere don't get their panties in a bunch because they feel someone insulted them.And BY GOD THEY ARE GONNA PAY,HOPEFULLY WITH THEIR JOB! IMO it's getting completely out of hand. Take TB for example. 99% of the time this place is great.There is a ton of knowledge on here and I only wish I could meet a lot of you.But there are times I've seen guys just go ballistic because someone dare bash a product or musician that someone loves. Maybe it's because it takes a lot more than what someone on the internet can peck out on a keyboard to tick me off about anything.What's your thoughts?

Many things anger me, but not many offend me. I've come to terms with the fact that the world is made up (though thankfully not entirely) of a great deal of idiots, a great deal of crazies, and a great deal of close-minded people, and can usually shrug things off.

I'm not easily offended, but limitations in freedom of speech offends me, i.e. if I cannot say my opinion about something because other people might be offended by it. This came to my mind because of a gun thread I happened to post in after the Virginia school shootings (I was rather new here then). I accept the rules of the forum so I stay away from those threads nowadays, but the crap I got due to my posted opinions then really ****** me off. Many Americans do obviously get very easily offended by people with differing opinions about guns.

Don't turn this to a discussion about guns again... I'm not going to participate in it if that is going to be the case.
