Kiddies,
I have a choice of 3 cities to live in for one year for my next project. Make your choice, and I will actually move to the winning city. No jokes. No gimmicks.
I can't make up my damn mind. It's in your hands. So I have no doubt somehow I will end up in Mexico or the Ukraine.
Happy St Patty's Day!

Why ?
San FranCircus is too cold: "The coldest winter i ever spent, was a summer in San Francisco" - Mark Twain
....and Phoenix AridZoner is too hot....

San Francisco, if you can afford it!
Charlotte? Nope, it's 90 minutes south of me, and that's too close.
Phoenix? Nope, too frakkin' hot, too frakkin' dry.

It's a killer town plus there's good surf and the ladies lovely, not to mention that a significant gay population just makes your odds of scoring said chicks that much better. |

| | | | Well that makes it official so far on every board I've posted this poll on...NO ONE likes Phoenix apparently. Why do people even live there?
I spent a lot of time in SF last year and yes...food is awesome and the culture is, well, err, interesting? But really expensive. And yes I remember the cold. It could be sunny and 76 outside then as soon as the sun went down and the fog rolled in, 35 degrees. Crazy weather! |

It's only unbearably hot for about three months, and that's why they make air conditioners. The winters in southern AZ are fantastic! Nothing like being able to wear shorts in December.
Never been to Charlotte, it might be nice, but avoid San Francisco unless you're already pulling well into 6 figures for an income. My wife and I fled the Bay Area for financial reasons, and it'll likely get worse before it gets better.

Phoenix is too hot for humans.

Crazy weather! | Thought the same exact thing my whole life, i go there once a year to see family and i just wonder why, seriously why here , you go from your air conditioned house, to your air conditioned garage , to your air conditioned car, then a walk in 5 minutes of heat and sweating to your air conditioned work or store.
Old people love that though my grandparents are blowing a couple million in retirement down there.
Not a fan of san fran eithier, stuff is exspensive , the streets are at almost a 90 degree angle etc.
Never heard of Charlotte , i never have been farther east then texas so all that is a big blank spot in my mind. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
