I was flying back from Germany to Colombia, the travel agency decided to change my flight from the 17th january to today. No problem there, I went to the airport in Dusseldorf and flew over to Madrid and had my bags sent to Colombia.
Then When I was in Madrid, already sitting on my chair, they call my name over the P.A system and told that I wasn't suppossed to be on that plane, that my reservation was for the 17th, tomorrow.
I explained to them that they travel agency had changed flight to the 16th. Anyway they didn't allow me to fly and then I was stucked In madrid with only 70€ in my pocket and I was supposed to pay formy hotel, transportation, etc.
What happened was that my online travel agency changed my reservation for the flight from Dusseldorf toMadrid but they didn't change the one form Madrid to Cali. Awesome isn't it?
Fortunately my (I'm newly-wed
) wife was able to send me some money via Western Union.
Now I'm at the Hotel thinking about my bags, because they were sent to Colombia as there was no time to take 'em off of the plane.
Has anything like this ever happened to you, it really sucks, specially when you're alone and without money.
