But you will get a billion dollars tax free when the year is finished.
The room is an average sized bedroom. There is one bed, a shower, and a toilet. You will be given food/water every day. You will have no contact with anyone whatsoever. You will have no form of entertainment. No tv, no games, no books, not even a pen. Nothing. Nada. Zip.
Just you in a room with your own mind.
Do you do it?

I don't like people much anyway. It would be a bit of a pain with no entertainment, but im sure I could invent something.

I'm surprised at the amount of people voting yes.
I'd definitely go insane probably within the first few months.

You'd come out looking like a rig.

Buddhist monks do this very thing very often (although they do read etc). Probably not as much as a year, but, for example, I've read of a particular monk who immersed himself in total seclusion for six months. There is alot you can accomplish thru meditation for an extended period of time. Its an excellent way to get to really know yourself. In fact, periods of seclusion (not that long maybe a month or so) are something many would benefit from as they would become more in touch with themselves, and become more centred.
If it weren't for my family, I'd definitely do it.

In addition to working out, if you knew some vocal exercises ahead of time, you could probably become a pretty good singer. |

I spend a significant amount of time in an office surrounded by a-holes, and I don't even get a small fraction of that amount!
