Check out Martin guitars. Some make that price seem quite cheap.

ive seen and played some martins up in the 5 thou price range but ive never seen one near 13 grand... then again ive never really looked for the most expensive guitars i could find. i know taylors get very pricey too but this was shocking to me.

As Willie's American Guitars, my local boo-teek, they have a $90000 martin. No joke. They have two employees supervise you when you play it.

exactly, you can't get a decent DB for 500 bucks. So yeah 13 grand for what looks like an epiphone acoustic is crazy.

I've actually played this:

It's valued at about $350k.

That's still dirt cheap if you compare it to violin prices.

My name isn't Clarence - can I still get a deal, or do I have to pay full price?
