I don't think Spider-Man is that cool. I'm sorry, but I don't. I know, my opinion yadda yadda.
I could go on and on with why, but I'll just say that I think the whole series would be cooler if: - There was no Spider Man 3. Ever. In fact, we need to go back in time and prevent that from occuring.
- He only has 2 arms. Spiders have 8. and red spandex does not a spider make
- going with the arms thing, he could just be Ocotopus-man, and have 8 arms and spray ink at people, and Dr. Octopus would be Dr. Arachnidius or something.
- People. Made of sand? Who are Villians? Stan Lee, put that joint down.
- Peter Parker and Deadpool need to be brothers.
- Peter Parker needs to be Tony Stark's DNA carrying vessel, making him the Inheritor to Iron Man
- Batman needs to be included somehow. and they all need to travel through Wormholes found on map they stole from
God Dr. Manhattan. - In a Delorean. at 88 MPH. Which is not very possible given the underpowered engine in that car.
- Police officers armed with axes should appear as well.
So, who agrees with me on this?

Bad central character cast. Bad MaryJane choice. I dunno, maybe I got spoiled by the near plausible nature of the new Batman movies, but I just can't do the "zany comedy" stuff in funny book adaptations anymore...I liked X-Men. I liked XII. X3 sucked hard. Wolverine even moreso, and there is no reason in the WORLD why it should have.
I think the pulpy stuff (w/ comedy) just translates alot better. I wish to God theyd make a Trans-Met movie. Spider Jerusalem would be a great subject for that type of comic adaptation.
All that said, I like Spiderman. He was my first intro to superheroes. I think the idea is neat. I dig Stan Lee. Sure, not all of his ideas were great, and not even all the ones that were, like Spiderman, should really "endure" like Hollywood thinks, I think. Batman has a new lease. Brian Singer could not revive Superman, and I doubt Zach Snyder will either. Same goes for Spidey. You cannot play it "real", and it's already been done over and over the current way. Let. It. Die. already.
