Fortunately I'm not middle aged yet | I'm not exactly there yet either. If I ever reach that point, do me a favor and kill me?
Thanks

Your talking to a person and reference a Musician or Musical event that took place in the late 70's or early 80's - they look at you and remind you they were not alive yet.
You've owned or played one of your Basses for 25 years or longer.
You Remember when Classic Rock was Contemporary.
You are digging through you closet and come across your old Tie Die's and Platform Shoes.
You Remember when 70's Jazz Basses were new and no one wanted one.
I could go on - but I'm getting old typing this

Fortunately I'm not middle aged yet | The funny thing is that as a professor, I am forever seeing some young woman bend over, showing her thong, or walking around with her breasts about to fall out. I'm not so old that I don't think the young women aren't sexy, but I can't help but look at them as kids since I could be their father.
Age and professional ethics just shuts down alot of impulses in a work setting. I am old enough to value my pension alot more than sex.

| That's when I knew! I was at a concert looking at all the cute shiny little girls and instead of trying to pick one up or at least think about I thought...
OMG she could be my Daughter.
