Hancock director Peter Berg is currently at work on a film version of the "Battleship" board game.
How could a film about putting plastic pegs into a fake plastic ocean be made interesting? Simple... ADD ALIENS!
Another 90% CGI and explosion-filled summer blockbuster that I won't bother seeing.

I just simply cannot see how something like this, so freaking threadbare in every conceivable capacity, can get a green light. But then again, what am I saying, happens all the time.
I'm right there with ya, saving my 12 bucks. Tru that!

Which do you think would make the better movie?

Participation will be involuntary.
It will be bloody.
Should get great ratings!

I don't think that book could possibly be made into a movie. Too much character introspection. I imagine it would be about as horrible as the movie they made out of "Dune".
