Question And the younger people will need an explanation...

Seeing all the aol/compuserve/prodigy talk in the myspace thread, I noticed someone brought up BBS. I remember BBS rather well, and there were fun games that didn't require fancy graphics.

This brings me to my question for all of you older internet users, what was your favorite BBS game of all time?

Mine was Legend Of the Red Dragon (L.O.R.D). A competitive BBS game where players got a certain number of turns per day, trying to be the first to defeat the red dragon.

I really wish I was around in the age of the BBS. Was zork a BBS game, or am I just making it up?

The original Zork was an ARPANET MUD.

Yup, Legend of the Red Dragon was the best.

The first time I played Zork I accidentally killed myself in under 30 seconds. I'm pretty sure that has to be some kind of record.
