Your Best Costumes

As I work on my costume for this year's Wizard Comic-Con in Chicago (not the big one...some day we'll make it out to Calli!) and prepare to meet Patrick Stewart (Make it so!) and Bruce Campbell (This is my BOOM STICK!) I am curious as to what YOUR best costume is?

I feel like I need pics. To inspire me.

My 10-year old is going as Sonya Blade, my husband is going as Sub-Zero and I'm going as Jade from Mortal Kombat. Should be fun! Last year at the Wizard Comic-Con we just wore superhero tee shirts. I wore a bat-girl tee. This year...all out baby!

I haven't done the costume thing before, but the girlfriend and I just finished ComicCon and were discussing potential costumes to pair up as. Early leaders included Muppet Show characters, but we're definitely open to inspiration.

This is a thinly veiled attempt to brag about going to comicon.

Bring on the pics.

Actually I'm not going to the REAL Comic-Con, so nothing to brag about! I do want to go someday to the REAL one! Have you been there, Mr. California Man?

Yes. A few times actually. I actually picked up some Robert Crumb, Some Kooch-E-Koo, Robert Williams, some tiki and other lowbrow stuff while I was there. There wasn't nearly as many sexy asian, or anime chicks as there were fat tighty-whitey wearing geeks in shoddy cardboard costumes.

My wife and her sister are planning on going. She's been working on a costume. Some leather mini skirt thing and a blue wig among other things....I have no freaking clue what she's supposed to be.... though I did tell her to make sure she wears it again the next time the kids aren't home

Last year for Halloween my daughter wanted to go as Little Dead Riding Hood. The Wolf won in her version. I'll see if I can scare up a pic.
