No matter how excited I get about a new one, I usually get through about eight out of a case and then start giving the rest away, but the one I can always come back to case-after-case is Ithaca's Gorges smoked porter. |

Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout
Victory Storm King Imperial Stout
Guinness Stout
Guinness Draught

Shiner Black Lager
Sierra Nevada Porter or Stout
Abita Turbo Dog
Guinness Stout
For a good cheap beer to have around for get togethers, it's hard to beat Yuengling Black and Tan

I tend not to like really dark beers - Guinness, Dunkelbocks, etcetera because they taste too bitter to me. |

Enjoying right now with some football. Impossible to see through with a thick brown head. Tastes like almost pure dark chocolate with some hops and grains mixed in for good measure. A little strong on the nose, but very tasty. Goes down surprisingly smooth for such a big beer. Would recommend for those who like dark beers and chocolate, but don't like the coffee flavors that some have.

The New Belgium Brewery in Fort Collins, Colorado, produces a dark ale called 1554. Chocolatey maltey delicious aroma and flavor, higher-than-average alcoholic content, really good stuff. Another CO brew, Lefthand Brewery Milk Stout, is pretty good too. And +1 to Samuel Smith's Old Tadcaster Oatmeal Stout.
Looking for a scotch ale that will knock you off your horse? Try Oskar Blues Brewery (Longmont, Colorado) Scottish Ale Old Chub.
