Mocha-rum was my favorite before I gave up alcohol.

Milk chocolate ice cream, strong coffee instead of milk, and rum blended toghther is hard to beat, IMO.

They'd never hand it over.

Damn you slobake! You have no idea how bad I want to make the 140 mile round trip to get a date shake.

At the U of MD they have their own creamery that makes all the ice cream served in the dining halls (or at least they did when I was there). The best shake I ever had ther was 2 scoops of chocolate, one scoop of black raspberry.

Yes sir, that is the same way I was introduced to date shakes at Hadleys. After several days of expanding our consciousness at Joshua Tree we would stop at Hadleys on the way home. Few things have ever tasted so good.

Ice cream upsets my stomach if I have too much, so Im not a big shake guy, but a Neopolitan shake from In n Out sounds good right now.

I love vanilla. My mother always threw in some salt and a raw egg. Makes them very frothy! I haven't had one of those in over 30 years I betcha!

Hmmmmmm...... I know a few people that own chickens.

Is an egg fresh from a chickens *** safer than store bought you suppose?

Chocolate malt
Chocolate peanut butter
Vanilla made with chocolate ice cream. (believe me, there's a difference)
Mint chocloate chip made with creme de menthe!

I'm not really a fan, but vanilla made from good quality vanilla ice cream would appeal to me. The multiple flavor ones seem like to much going on to enjoy.

There is a restaurant and bar out this way (maybe out your way, too) called the Yardhouse. They sell a yardlong glass of beer. On their desert menu they had a Guinness shake, as well as a shake made with Stone Smoked Porter. Or maybe they were floats.

*They were floats. These are currently on the menu:
DRAFT BEER FLOATS
Young's Chocolate Stout with vanilla ice cream
Framboise with vanilla ice cream
Must be 21 or older to order

I can confirm that Guinness Shakes (aka unfrozen/unstirred Guinness Floats) kick major butt. It's incredible how well the stout and the vanilla sweetness complement each other.

Because of this thread I got lunch from Del Taco, where I had a coupon for a free shake.
I think I'll also be dining at the Yardhouse where I can get me one of dem Youngs Chocolate Stout floats. (and fill my growler at the Stone Store)

Definitely going to try that combo soon even if I can't find a restaurant to serve it!
