Your favorite Super Bowl game

I was thinking about my favorite Super Bowl games, and two come to mind. My all-time favorite was Feb 3, 2002, Super Bowl XXXVI, St.Louis Rams vs New England Patriots. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, and Brady's drive and Vinatieri's game-winner made it all the more exciting. All the more special for me, being a big Pats fan, and this was their first win.

My second favorite was Jan.21, 1979, Super Bowl XIII, Pittsburgh Steelers vs Dallas Cowboys. A shootout, the Steelers survived a big Dallas comeback and hang on to win.

The Pittsburgh Steelers with the immaculate reception.

III was my least favorite...the Colts laid an egg that day & it still stings.

The Colts were 13-1 that year...the only loss was to the Browns (30-20). The Colts avenged that loss in the NFL Championship Game by thumping Cleveland 34-0.

Yeah, I was fan (as much as a 10-year could be).
There's still part on me that thinks Earl Morrill (big INT with Jimmy Orr, the PRIMARY WR on the play, WIDE OPEN in the end zone), Lou Michaels (missed a couple of kicks), etc.

Super Bowl V (i.e. "The Blunder Bowl"), Colts 16-13 over the hated Cowboys, did not ease the pain & trauma from III.

The Rams/Titans was a good game; a couple of the Pats' games went right to the end...at least one of the SF/Cinn games went down to the wire.
Plenty of the games were busts/boring.

That was an AFC Championship Game.
Think about it-
It was against the Raiders (an AFC team)
It was in Pittsburgh

I wish the footage of the initial NFL/AFL Championship game was still around.

Mine is coming up this Sunday... history time!

(for past games, I'd have to go with XXXVI - the first one)
