Your most desired MMA match?

Sign in to disble this ad
What two MMA fighters would you like to see tangle the most? Any weight category, any curcit, UFC, Pride, K1, whatever.

I will state the obvious: Anderson Silva vs. Fedor Emelianenko

I seriously think Silva could give him a run for his money, for obvious reasons, but then again, Fedor seems to be able to take unlimited amounts of abuse from strikes and still manage to get the fight to the ground, where he seems pretty much unstoppable.

So what's your dream match-up?

Fedor v Coture
Fedor v Mir
Fedor v Lesnar

Any of the above. I'd like to see how Fedor holds up against any of them.

I think that he'd own Lesnar. Randy and Mir would be good match ups. We already got the Arlovski and the Silvia match ups which prove that Fedor still has it. If gets any of the above match ups and wins against Barnett, it's safe to say that he is, without a doubt, the best heavyweight fighter yet.

Mark Hunt vs 50 Cent.

I'd like to see Mark Hunt beating 50 Cent to within an inch of his life.

Agreed on him destroying Lesnar. That guy is a joke. Coture is getting old and is past his prime, I think. I'm confident Mir will destroy Lesnar again. That guy is just too big and clumsy, he beat Coture on a fluke slip. What amazes me about Fedor is he simply does not seem to be fazed by physical pain in the slightest. The man is the definition of determined.

Not in the same weight class...but Rashaad Evans vs. The Spiderman Silva would be great.

My next choice would be Lesnar vs every hip hop moron...one at a time, till there are none left.

Cheers,
BT

I don't know if it would be that one-sided, dude... Granted, Lee had speed, technical ability with Martial Arts and all that, but Ali was a FIGHTER. That cat had spirit. He was INCREDIBLY FAST for his size. Also, I reckon round after round of being pummeled by other Heavyweight boxers would have Ali conditioned to withstand a great deal of punishment that Lee could dish out. I mean, don't get me wrong, Bruce Lee was one tough mother and mroe than capable of giving a good fight... but a film set and a boxing ring are two different things.

just my 0.02

How about Evans vs. Fedor? That would be EPIC.

Bas Rutten vs anyone.
I'd love to see Bas Rutten come out of retirement.

Fedor vs Lesnar

or a rematch between Couture and Lesnar

But Bruce would just kick Cassius Clay in the testicles and then leather him. Boxing is hands, and thats it. If a boxer wants to quick, his boxing game and mindset has to go out the window. While Cassius is struggling to get to grips with how to actually fight, Lee could cheap shot him.

But would they permit a blow to the testicles in an MMA fight? I thought that sort of thing was against the rules?

Oh wait I thought this was a proper fight, I forgot about the MMA rules. What about old skool MMA rules like the UFC used to have no? No weightclasses (which would rule Bruce too light to fight Cassius) and blows to the groin were shockingly obvious and common!
