Maybe it has been asked before, but I couldn't find any thread concerning this topic: What job do or did you have, to earn the money spent on basses, cabs, pedals, heads and other stuff? I'm responsible for a calibration and research lab within a small company of temperature specialists. I have done this for almost 29 years now.

Pretty cool job, long hours but beats sitting at a desk ( for the most part). I spend way too much of that money on bass gear. |
