Youtube bass gear demos...

Sign in to disble this ad
Am I the only one who noticed the lack of (good) bass gear demos at youtube...? when Im looking for a good review of any bass related gear I almost always have to read the reviews here at talkbass.

Guitarrist have ProGuitarShop, FrettedAmericana, GearWire, Gearmandude, etc...

Best case scenario for a bass gear review: some guitarrist "playing" guitar with a bass.. with a pick

ahh just sharing some frustration.

ANYWAYS! I like to thank all the bassist who have shared their time, their knowledge and their gear with us at youtube!

Thanks a lot, you make my life a lot easier!

Ed Friedland. He most likely reviews what you want, and if not, then yeah, you're usually SOL IME.

Side question: what's wrong with playing with a pick?

Well, there's also our very own Brian R. Tyler, of whom I've watched more than one effects demo when shopping around.

Thanks- I'd have five or six more up there by now if my recording interface hadn't decided to start hating my computer. Just got a new one in yesterday, so I should be recording more next week.

Unfortunately, Ed Friedland said that the gear reviews have basically come to a halt since he's doing some other gig with Bass Player magazine now. If someone pays him for a review he'll do it though.

I want to do my own reviews and stuff but I don't think I have the discipline for it, lol.

I agree. I couldn't believe there was only one good review of the Lakland Decade, in depth!.. all in Spanish.
