Okay. Imagine no gun and ammo shops. What's the best place to be when they attack?

Anyone read the Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks?

My co-worker keeps pushing it on me but I can't get past 20 pages. Two nights ago though, I read My Swordhand is Singing by Marcus Sedgwick and that totally got me thinking about how I should really really finish that Survival Guide.

I just looked it up, it says it's in the young adult fiction category, but if it's good I'd read it. Would you recommend it?

It depends a lot on what is causing the zombification. If everyone turns zombie at death whether bit or not than NOWHERE IS SAFE!!!

I don't think a gun would be a lot of use in a zombie attack anyway, when you consider that they are already dead, and don't feel pain.

From what I have heard, beheading works, and fire works. So grab a fire axe and a flame thrower. Maybe brew up some Molotov cocktails as well. As for location, anywhere that gives you a high ground advantage, and has a strong door. Somewhere to bottleneck them would be good as well, so you could take them on one at a time.

headshots work on zombies......fire just kills the parasite/infection/whatever after you've destroyed the brain.
+1 with the high ground/bottleneck. nothing funner than picking of hordes of zombies.

I've read the Zombie Survival Guide, it's pretty humerous in my mind. I guess the important factor for the question is how long is this attack?
