How is the internet on both? Who has better apps? Who has more apps? Better support? Which is better?

And I have no interest in HD radio.

I don't think you can go wrong with Apple.

Plus if the zune has so many complaints, and you know the iPod touch is popular so support and assistance would be easy to find...I vote iPod touch 100%.
I'm typing on one now

As a portable video/game toy to get through some long rides/flights, the iPod does fine, but there are better options. The Archos 5 is far more useful as a portable storage device, and they don't irreversibly encode the living crap out of anything you put on them. Files and music/video can be dragged on and off like it's a thumb drive. Try that with an iPod. When it comes to a portable music player, if any device other than an iPod behaved well with my Macs, I'd sell it today and buy an Archos.
If you want something that will run apps and surf, just get an iPhone.

No, I dont own a Mac. Too much hype involved in that price... I would get one if it was cheaper though, just to play around.

I've played with a friend's Zune for a while, the menus are bulky and confusing while the iPod's controls are intuitive and easy to use.
Yes, I'm an Apple fanboy, but my first hand experience tells me the Zune is garbage, not brand loyalty.

The iPod Touch is a better device than the Zune, however, any iPod product that is not a touch is a far worse product than the Zune. Easy to navigate interface, really intuitive controls, more hard drive for your buck, plus a larger screen with a much better resolution than the iPod. I have a Zune and I like it better than any iPod that isn't a touch.
