I have a group playing at this year's Clearwater Jazz Holiday. The group is called ABCD with Billy Norris (me, of course, on bass), and we're performing on Friday October 14 at 6 pm. If anyone's in the Tampa Bay area, I strongly suggest you come check us out. We're all 18 and under (the drummer is 14! he's one of
those kids) and we met as part of the Gibson/Baldwin GRAMMY Jazz ensembles in February at the GRAMMY's this year. Just thought I'd put out the word...a smoking set is definitely in order, I can promise you that. Plus, Trio! (Stanley Clarke, Bela Fleck, and Jean Luc Ponty) play after us!
