Picture the clothesline behind their abode. Must look like some alternative fuels hippy trying to reach the moon in a wind-powered rocket with all the cotton undies out to dry.

This is the reason that when I play at the cigar bar here, I position myself between AND behind the piano and drums. While the crowd is usually well behaved, there is always some who can't handle alcohol in a reasonable manner. I've seen idiots trying to dance fall on the cymbals, but I'm well protected.

Ray,

it's too bad your car didn't break down just a little further south. You could've hitched a ride on a horse'n'buggy, and probably would've had a place to crash and been able to participate in a barn raisin' early the next morning.

It's been a couple of years since I've been out to Shank's, but it's always an enjoyable ride.
