I think that's finland you're talking about. 'Lordi' is the name of the hard rock, monster men. Check out what they look like here! I really hope they win! I'm actaully interested in the eurovision song contest. What's happened to me?

Spent too much time here, maybe?
Hopefully it wears off while you spend your week in Cork.

They did win - I saw the end - it was sort of ironically funny - like the Darkness, Spinal Tap - that kind of thing....?

Certainly better than most of the entries which were more about the shortness of skirts and physical "attributes" of the almost inevitably female, "singers".....

That´s how the Eurovision has been to me: fun to watch but the music makes my ears bleed.
Lordi didn´t make an exception.

Yes...if you're looking for "Good Music" , then this is probably the least-likely place to find it ....

Wow. They won! Good for them. I've met the girl that plays keyboard a few times, nice girl. It was good to see an actual band playing live instruments winning the competition. Although most of the poeple i was talking to in Ireland that voted for them said that it was just 'for a laugh'. They do have a novelty factor, there's no denying it. But, they write their own songs, perform, sing in tune, and put on a show. Pretty good for Eurovision, if ask me. The whole competition is a farce of course, the music is always pretty awful.

go lordi! those who moan should just download some of their music and have a good time. they're probably the best tongue-in-cheek band, better than kiss or the darkness anyways.
