Cheese on toast and Rogue "Dead Guy" ale (from Oregon) is a favorite late night snack too. Quote:

I missing that here in L.A. (when I lived in NY-city I spent a lot of time on East 9th St.). I'm hoping to go visit my family this summer - and I've got a laundry list of restaurants to visit.

Funny thing is, I've been pondering tonight's answer to this question the whole way home--then I walk in and see this thread. I have my 22 oz bottle of Racer 5, and now I just need to scrape up some food. |

All the bands would show up at 2:00 am -- original, cover bands, classic rockers, hardcore. Was quite a cool lil' scene. Don't even know if the place exists any more.
I love breakfast after gigs -- Denny's.

I am a proud graduate of Boulder Junction Grade School. I'm reasonably sure that I'm the only jazz bassist to have ever emerged from that school . I know Camp Manitowish very well. I got to know a couple of jazz guys when I was a kid there; Warren Bernhardt used to hang out there, and Dave and Iola Brubeck had a summer place in Rhinelander.
I love the UP.... I used to bike up to Lake Of The Clouds, Copper Harbor... and speaking of great post-gig foods.... its hard to beat a good old fashioned yooper-style pasty. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
