My old lady makes these little pizzas with turkey pepperoni. Three sets, one of those and 10 minutes of the History Channel...I'm out like a light.

Marcus, I'm sure you know all about the Plate Lunch places in Hawaii, Chicken Katsu, with Teriyaki steak, and Tempura shrimp, with Macaroni salad on the side. Theres some good ones on the North Shore. But boy will that stuff sink your ship fast. Also theres Matsumotos on the North SHore, I dont know if you've ever been there for shave ice, but its incredible.

I play everything. This particular tour was Hawaiian music, and most of the bigger shows have hula halau, or at least some dancers, along for the ride. It's part of the music.

Now you're talkin' some 'ono kine grinz, brah! No forget da two scoop rice!! I live for good plate lunch. As it turns out, it's a great way to fill up without making a big dent in the per diem. Lau lau, kalbi ribs, chicken katsu for sure, chicken long rice, kalua pig, fish n' poi, any kine poke... those are some of the main reasons I can never leave Hawai'i. As if I needed one.

I'm hip to Matsumoto's, I'll be on the North Shore next week. Buuuurrrppppp... Like they say... Hawai'ian style, you put da opu (belly) out.

I cant believe I forgot kalbi ribs, those are the best and kalua pig. And it really is the best way to eat for cheap, I need to make another trip back out there, visit my relatives in Honolulu. I wonder what the bass program is like at the University of Hawaii? You wouldnt happen to know would you?
