So I am sitting here typing this post one handed, because today while body surfing in the beautiful beaches of Puerto Escondido, Mexico I have managed to hurt my arm. Basically a waves sent me straight to the ground and to protected my head I used my arms so my head basically slammed my arm which was flat on the bottom. Its a little swollen and hurts when I move my wrist in certain ways. Does this sound like a fracture to you or is it just bruised or hurt in some other way? Its obviously not a displaced fracture, but it definitely hurts so I was think it might be a hairline fracture. and also treatment help would be nice seeing as I am a week and a half from any real doctor?
If it IS a hairline fracture, you need to set it and immobilize it right away to prevent complications down the road. My advice to you (and I am NOT a doctor.......although I play one on TV ) is to get thee to a doctor ASAP to find out what this is. I know you're in Mexico, but you're talking about a problem that may affect you the rest of your life. Good luck!
