There was a segment last week on the Colbert Report called "Who's not honoring me now?" Zorn was recently awarded the MacArthur Grant (I believe Edgar Meyer won at some point). He gets mention and they even play a clip of his music! Check it out...it's pretty hilarious. I do love Zorn, but certainly couldn't help laughing at this.
Fantastic - it reminds me of the grammy's one year when
rosie o'donnell [mc] said " here are three people you have never heard of" and it was edgar meyer et. al. - just goes to show you, the best are not the most well known and vice versa.
