Ken Smith Synchronicity: almost too weird to be true

Maybe I'm not the first person to point this out, but....

I discovered today that not only is there an Australian politician called Ken Smith...

...but he is legislative member for The Electoral District of Bass.

It's true!

Very common name though!

It's like saying : wow , John Smith was the leader of the Labour party and the maker of a popular beer!

True, it is moderately common - the politician is the top Google hit for "Ken Smith biography", though.

John Smith would only be amusing if he'd been MP for Beer :-)

I mostly just like the idea of an Electoral Division of Bass....

I wonder what the politician thinks of the fact that typing in his name and the name of his electoral division into Google comes up with someone entirely different.

Where's Ken Smith to tell a newbie that a double bass doesn't have frets when you need him?

Switching from bass guitar to double bass, advice?
