Luthier School

I didn't know where to put this one so I just put it here...

I just found out today there's a luthier school not far away from where I live. I've always wondered how is it that this darn things make a sound so I emailed them for info. I'm really excited about this, I didn't even know they taught such thing at a school! Hopefully I'll become a luthier five years from now and (tons of wasted wood later).

So, could all our kind luthiers out there give me your opinions and/or maybe some tips, pointers or just tell my I must be drunk or something?

Thanks
Jorge
