I Just thought it would be cool to get a thread started with the members of each state. Tell where you live(if you want to) how long you've been playing, if you teach, where you get lessons etc. etc.
I've been playing for only about 6 months and I think for having no real lessons (band conductor said "you hold it like this and you should try to play with the side of your finger more than the tip") I'm doing pretty good. I live in Elk River (Sherburne co.)
