Sig P226 and SW 3914, looking real hard at Kimber, XD or SIG 1911. And of course my old Ruger Mk I which just seems to shoot forever.

Gave Osama some new nostrils yesterday to ease tension from my arco practice.

Love those Mk-Is.

I haven't shot competitively in years, but I used to be a very serious airgun field target shooter.

So... do you use the French pistol grip, or the German?

I tried pin shooting back in grad school, with a Dan Wesson .44... much more satisfying than trying to hit them by rolling a ball at them. These days I like quieter sports, like playing with my occasional rock band ;-)

One of my crazy siblings actually owns a .50 cal Barret M82. Something not to be fired in ones basement. I'll probably try it out in the desert one of these days, only if I feel like I can sacrifice my shoulder.

I have recently discovered the .17 HMR. It is the most wicked light caliber I have seen and ammo is very affordable. Mine consistently shoots 3/4-1" groups at 100 yards.

Dang! That's pretty hardcore. I've always wanted to try that too, but I'd think gigging would be dicey for awhile afterwards.
