Good heavens! You're right. Just ran a search and my bow is now 4 times what I paid for it.

I remember this midwestern kid's first business trip to New York City, back around 1979.

I was riding the subway from midtown to a meeting in the financial district, and as I boarded that morning, I saw the headline on one of the tabloids, "Man on Subway Shot with Bow and Arrow".

A dangerous place indeed...

This is starting not to sound like too much fun, gentlemen.

My bad, my bad.

I deleted my post. Just felt grumpy that day.

Only if you're a bad guy, here we shoot back at the criminals.

Marcus, you might enjoy checking out 3-d archery (3d animal targets out to 40 yards usually), which is much like a round of golf, or Field archery (butt targets, out to 80 yards). No need to hang up a good sport just because you don't want to hunt. If you're a precision kind of guy, then shooting indoor spots may be for you.

There is also the option of techno-hunts--Video of various game animals (snakes to elephants) projected on a screen approximately 20 yards away. You have to wait for the game to stop or move into an opening before releasing. The computer then scores your hit (or miss). It is great practice but doesn't seem like practice.

Forget hunting, I'm just waiting for a decent fishing game to be released for the Wii and I'm all over it!
