Oh yea, where'd you get that? From left to right that's my Mothers brother, her father Franklinton, next her sister's husband my second cousin Mastibington. After that Mastibinton's uncle, my other brother Jebbushinton, then next door neighbor my mother's sister's father Fartobigton, and then his father my other brother Bob. He doesn't know what a Double Bass is either.

Very fetching fellows don't you think?

Yeah, he's the one nobody calls to babysit the kids, if you get my meaning. The "confirmed bachelor" of the family.

Jeff, please extend my thanks to your mother for her service to our country.

Wait a minnit. Wouldn't a pissing contest extinguish a flame war?

It'd still make a really bad smell.

This may or may not be the appropriate thread to say this, but:

THANK GOD FOR YOU GUYS!!!!!

In the year and a half since I picked up the BG and four months on the DB, Talk Bass has helped me tremendously.

Of course, the DB side is a lot more fun. The recent, never to be named again thread was one that showed me that we can agree to disagree, but must never lose sight of the fact that we all have a lot to learn from one another.

Ken, I read every one of your posts. Even those that blather on ad nauseum about your basses. Whatever..........

No doubt, I've got a lot to learn.

Edit? What edit?

FYI, those pics are still findable with a simple Google search. Fortunately, forum rules prohibit me posting them.

Cool Pissing contest..

My Tae Quan Do teacher once said, "There's only one sure why to know who the winner is. He's the one still standing!"

To keep things interesting and to get out of my own boredom, I started a new thread which has grown into some general but peaceful discussions abour Basses. Also another about Jazz Basses, not Fenders, but great sounding Basses used in Jazz ash also modulated by the readers and writers into more about Basses.

Two PEACEFUL threads with no Pissing!

Too Quiet Around Here.. (massive Master Restoration on a Classic Bass)
Great Basses in Jazz

Though it seems sometimes as if I am a teacher here about Bass makers, I am actually learning as I look things up and post them. Alot of this knowledge is in my head now but a few years ago I knew only a fraction of what I have learned since.
