Talking New one here...

Hello!
Umm, I'm almost 15 and I've only been learning doublebass for two years, and just yesterday I acquired a bass guitar of my own. I love them both, and I'm into all sorts of stuff, mainly the jazz, though.

Nice to meet you all...

Welcome, and good luck with your doublebass studies.
Be aware that on the DB side, your name will be 'modified'. No one escapes.

GLOCKENKLAVIER,

Welcome aboard, and ditto what HIG DOUBLEDON said. This board is chock full of crusty old bastards...we could use some fresh blood.

Warning: if you decide to mess with Ed "DEAD PUKESPRAY" Fuqua, I'll have to go back and edit the end of the above sentence to read "fresh meat". Welcome to the funhouse.

Hey Chris,

I thought you were going to lay off the mean mouth stuff. You know that the "Don-of-Higdons" resents that type of language...or was that he represents it. Oh well.

"Mean mouth stuff"?? Heck, I was just trying to let the kid know what he's getting into. And as to whether DONDONHIG resents that type of language,...I've got a couple of Emails tucked away in cold storage which should prevent him from ever safely making that claim.
