Just when I thought the Pats might be taking yet another one.... amazing what can happen in the last 2 minutes of play.
My walk home from my girlfriends' was pretty wild.. I haven't seen that much craziness and partying in the streets since Italy won the '06 world cup. |

Validation for Eli and for a team not even supposed to make the playoffs. I wish I could be in New York or better yet in Boston ! |

My 7-year old daughter was worried about this game. She was not concerned about the hated Cowgirls; she told my wife to have more faith. I rewarded her for her loyalty with a G-Man jersey after that one. Same goes for Green Bay, although I was sweating it out.
The problem she had was this...having caught some of the pregame hype:
"What if they lose because the Patriots cheat again."
It was just after half time and she had to get to bed. I told her, "Don't worry...they won't cheat. And if they do cheat, they'll get caught because it never pays to cheat." Pretty hokey, I know.
I'm just glad fate, and the hard work of the G-men, delayed a sorry lesson I'm going to have to teach her some day. She realizes life is not fair...I just don't need a cheating success story undermine all I'm trying to teach her about character.
Good thing I also didn't have to show her about being a sore loser too. |

I can't be the only person who wanted to Patriots to lose that game, for whatever reason. I'll put it this way: the crowd reaction when they scored with 2:30 left in the game was almost laughably mild. The Final score on the other hand...... |
