I was sitting here tonight and was going through the listings for electris and acoustic bass, nad came to the conclusion that alot of the hard core upright players don't have much respect for the electric bass. Please understand that there in no way any disrepect for anybody, electric or upright, but why is this so. I play both, mainly in a jazz and pop setting, but I'm begining to venture into the legit side of music. I was just wondering. Thanks.

How come these threads always start with "I was looking through the old posts and . . ."
How come people never find the threads about this topic. Maybe these should go into the newbie lists. |

Ouch! All of a sudden, and for no reason in particular, I just realized that I will probably never partake of yogurt or cottage cheese again for the rest of my time on earth. |
