A quick hello from PW

Hey....I took a bit of a vacation from TBDB for a bit. Things got too crazy for a minute for the old cat......now that things have settled down, i'll give it a shot againg.
I'm particularly interested in Red Mitchell stuff and Scotty with Bill kinda stuff.
Good to be back!
Best, Paul Warburton

Hey Paul - good to see you around again. I've been playing quite a bit with pianist Chuck Marohnic lately since he moved back to town. Nice player, nice guy. He said that you guys have played together and to tell you hello from him if I heard from you.

Hey, Paul
This is kinda funny, I´ve been away from TB for months, due lack of time, gigs, job, family and reasons like that. Today I decided to peep in to see what´s happenin, and the first message I saw was from you!
Nice to hear from you, old warhorse.

Hi Paul,

great to see you back - I was worried about you for a while there.

Now that the dust has settled it's been fairly civilized around TBDB - it's good to have your knowledge, wit and experience back with us.

Andy

Hey Paul,

I haven't been around much myself lately. A bone spur in my left shoulder has limited me to guitar and a 30" scale BG. It was relieved surgically about a month ago and I have a lot more strength in my lower arm but . . . stretching out for long scale instruments still seems imprudent at best so I'm afraid that I'll be doing my jazz playing on a short-scale Warwick fretless BG. It beats not being able to play at all.

Hey Bender.....
Some of these guys may be too young to hear stuff like that!

Good to "see" you back. I wondered if you may have suffered another bout of ill health.
