Stradivari Violin Restoration Pics

Shout out to my little sister Trudy, who has just posted pics of her recent restoration of a golden-age Antonio Stradivari violin on her site at the bottom of the page.

I'm so proud of her. Violin-work is pretty much all she's ever done since she was a teenager.

For now, you can just copy the link and add a dot com to the end of it.

Sam,
That's some realy interesting stuff! Thanks for the link. I've never seen anything like that before, and its realy cool to see the steps taken to repair a string instrument. From the little bit of woodworking that I do for architecture models, I realy respect the amount of patience and precision that goes into something like this.

Fascinating site. I was amazed at the number of cleats all ready on that top. I guess it's had some maintenance in the last 300 years. Quite an honor to be entrusted with the health of an old Strad.

Really nice work, Sam. And none of the usual violinmaker-as-god BS!
