Somewhere, a Sierra Club member just had a deep chill come over them.

Of course, who am I to talk of this as the mighty slayer of defenseless deer My brother says I look like Elmer Fudd with the cap riding too high....

Them's purty nice (especially by Kansas standards), but mine's bigger Did you get those on your farm? Can you get two bucks in Kansas? They need to up the season bag in Oklahoma to about 20 (no exaggeration). I saw well over 50 deer in 2 days hunting far NorthWest OK, and every person I know up there has hit a deer in their car.

I like your farm dogs. Is that a chocolate lab? I have one named Phoebe who is a great dog.

Naw, we don't see mulies until the panhandle of Oklahoma, and I'm about 50 miles south and 10 miles east of that.

Seriously though, very nice "fall harvest". I'm a meat hunter so I could generally care less about rack size, but this was the nicest rack I've seen on a whitetail out there, although there are some huge deer in that country. This one field dressed to 105; the buck I got 2 years ago was even bigger at 207 (looked like an elk).
