Thanks for Help With My Car Wreck

Guys,

Remember this thread?

Spiro Growl Straight to Board Soundclip

What I did not tell anybody is that the track in question was recorded about a month after I was rear-ended in a significantly bad car wreck, and I had a significant amount of medical bills and a significant amount of pain and suffering getting back up to speed. The track was recorded as I was literally propped up and wouldn't allow myself that day anything stronger than tramodol in order to try to keep going. Oh, it hurt, but I needed a reference track.

All the criticisms of my playing that were levelled at me in the thread were forwarded to my attorney, who used them along with the track to formulate that part of the demand package against the other driver's insurance company about how my playing had suffered. Not using any names, of course, and not using any direct quotes, of course, but being able to articulate the gist of how bad my playing suffered as one component of the overall damages I suffered.

Yesterday, I got word that he had obtained a policy limits settlement in my behalf. If anybody is really that interested, PM me and I'll send you the circuit court case number, which I probably shouldn't post here.

Thanks for all your help, even if you didn't know that's what you were helping me with. I shall now waddle back to be the mid-sized duck in the small pond that I am where I live.

Thanks again.

Just saw this. I don't think I commented in the original thread referenced, but I hope you're OK and getting healthy again.

Wow. A+ for innovative use of an internet chat forum!

Good luck with your recovery. May it be speedy and complete.

Sure man, anything to help..... I guess.....but on the other hand, isn't this sort of like the revengeful message an angry girlfriend writes in the mirror with her lipstick......? Or maybe it's just plain weird.
