Dutch names...

Here' s one. Sem. I know a Sem here and it's really grown on me. His folks call him Semmy when he's cute, Sem when he's acting up. A friend of mine named his boy Felix. At first I thought it was funny but now I really like it. Haden wasn't our cup of tea either, though for awhile we we're into it. I like Tobias as well. Tristan made the list for awhile but we knew a Tristan who was a jerk so that was that. Aden is popular now... Course there's always Cachao!

I actually thought for a second about Cachao, but I think it goes on the spousal reject list with a bunch of other latin names that I like "Ernesto", for example. No matter how much I want to be, I'm just not Cuban.

I put Felix on the list last week and it's got a chance. I have a close friend, sax player named Felix and it works.

We'll see. Keep the ideas coming.

I was looking into some of those names and man are they wild. I had it narrowed down to Tadhg (sounds like "tiger" without the R) for a boy or Aoife (like Eva with an f instead of a V) for a girl. Mom, thoroughly non-Irish, didn't go for either of em. So Olivia it is.

we named our five-month old son Berio, after Luciano Berio. Here's a picture of the little rascal and his mother.

Cheers,
Vincent

Thanks! He makes at least as much noise as some of Luciano Berio's more experimental musical excursions But I like both very much!

Cheers,
