Careful Officer Krupke, I got chased down for using that scary word: upright. |

I perform in the Kabuki theatre (not Karaoke!) at night to subsidize my gas. Very important... |
S ADDAM HUSSEINBEAUX,
You sure you don't mean Karaoke? Cause I happen to know for a fact that no real Kabuki theatre would never allow a toybass to be a part of the musical festivities, even if it was made of pressed lotus leaves and strung with samurai catgut. Now, if you had one of them there fancy electric Kotos......
JT - I won't speak for anybody else, but it's alright with me if you want to call Pacman's new axe an "Upright". After that pic you posted in the infamous GB thread, I figure you know a real "Double Bass" when you see one. |

What really astonished me was that it featured the EXACT words, "And I would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for those meddling kids."
It had been long enough that I had thought that this was just a joke.
Hmm, maybe they've got Josie and the Pussycats...

Now, if you had one of them there fancy electric Kotos...... | You know, PRISSY MITZIE, I'm surprised at your knowledge of Japanese culture, it's very sound; however, I fear that you're forgetting some details. You see, many Japanese realized that being shorter in stature, the stand-up (hehehe) bass was too difficult to play. Leosura Fendersaki developed magnetic coils to wrap around the base of thick sheepgut strings tied taut to a branch. He painted it what he called "sunburst" and through the use of 400 eels and a potato, conducted electricity into the diaphragm of a kangaroo (don't ask). Voila! Because of Fenersakisan's influence in the samurai clan HiroShoKosugi, his privilege extended to the local Kabuki theaters. I share a rich history with this gentle giant. |

Well, I never! Do you guys in the UK really do that? What's the point? As long as one is covered up properly, Why wear a mask there?
Pkr2 | Well I heard it was more popular in mainland Europe - "Un Ballo i Mascera", "Ein Maskenball" etc.?

Hey man, nice bat-leotard...you get that at Wal-Mart, or what?
Well, duh!...I might have known you weren't lying if you'd metioned Fendersaki in your @#&^$%%#&@* profile! I was talking about a regular toybass.
Geez, some people..... |
