Should folks use the "tattletale button" to contact you in these cases, or send you a PM? That "Report This Post To A Moderator" button is kind of ominous, like it might automatically send in the SWAT team or something...does it always go to you if it's posted in DB?

Don't mean to tread where I shouldn't be (i.e., DB land) ,
but I must say...Somebody swooped down fast & furious
and wiped that thread RE Jaco's "love child" in BG Off Topic.
I read that silly post once and then BAM!...where'd it go?

I could swear that early this morning there was a stupid thread started on this side by that Fieldy person. Now it's nowhere to be seen.
Is this the work of JT?

My impression is that when he knows it's a troll for sure, he simply performs a "14-string Smackdown" by knocking them upside they greasy head with that crazy looking doubleneck of his. After that, they either disintegrate completely or leave willingly.

Of course, I could be wrong.

I remember hitting a guy straight in the face with my old Gibson Ripper during a bit of a "disturbance" in a bar (geez, that had to hurt- broke his nose, but it stopped him).

I'll bet one of those doubleneck multi-stringed monsters could be classified with the police as a lethal weapon.

Sounds good!

Personally,I find very little offensive but not everyone is as thick skinned as I am[read fat]

Probably best for all of us to maintain a watchdog type mentality, hey it`s OUR site dang it! After all there are many youngins who post/read here.I know my young daughters read over my shoulder somtimes.Uh,when they are not crabbing at me to stop playing so loud!

I think the "report this post to a Moderator" button is a nice option.
