My Digitech Bass Compressor gave out a good funk sound when i played slap or not, Until I had It stolen at a gig. I want to change and get a different one, What do you think is the best?

I feel ya
there's a link floating around with a review of almost every compressor on the market.
are you looking for a rack compressor or another pedal?
Personally having a 300$ pedal go bye bye made me go for a BBE Max Com, because a 50lb rack is less likely to walk than a 1/2lb pedal.

But then again you liked Digitech comp and Bongomania hates it so you propably have a different taste.

Completely agreed. While certain things like noise and such are important, we all have are own voice and our own needs/wants out of a compressor.

Heck, even I'll agree with that. That said, if you want something that works/plays similarly to the Digitech, but isn't as awful , try the EBS.
