Plus, knowing how the business is, the "helper" is probably a stoner friend living on Ben's couch and Ben's trying to help the guy get on his feet.
PWV, I was having the same conversation with Ben on the phone yesterday. He's such a cool dude and his ties to the roots of Puget Sound music would be the envy of a lot of people.
I miss being up there a lot and hopefully this trip will yeild some promising leads. Moving to Texas was the best thing I could have done for my career, but my wife and I miss WA so much we're depressed all the time about it. | You're right they are probably getting swamped with orders I guess the helper can stay I think that sale was a great promotion I wanted so bad to bite at $699.00 but that is half way to a nice vintage flip top that I also wanted so the sale is what pushed me into it I couldn't pass it up and I couldn't be happier.

Sure, there may be problems because we humans are faulty by design but, it is because of that I want to support Ben's efforts as much as I can.
I received a Meatsmoke pre with a few issues and Ben was super cool and open about discussing possible problems. He didn't give me any ******** or defensiveness at all. He just had a tossed out a couple of troubleshooting scenarios then had me ship it back, on the company, to have it fixed. That sort of attention and responsibility is so rare these days that he had just earned a lifetime customer.
So, if there was any worry about support from Ben you can rest easy. From my experience the guy just rules.

On my end I can't tell you how good it felt when i brought up the issue and he was so good about it. Made me feel confident about my investment.

Ben is a class act

I was really happy to get it, but I also received it literally 2 hours before heading out of town. I've only just now had some time to really get to know my Verellen. It's pretty much the ultimate drive and high gain device with a very strong presence in the mids and highs. Still, I'm very happy with it. |
